Director’s Profile

A self-employed individual truly becomes an entrepreneur when he not only focuses on his own employment but also creates opportunities for others, takes risks, and establishes an institution.

With this vision, young local journalist Shawon Khondokar Shahin founded Shahin IT in 2008. Since its inception, he has been dedicated to empowering underprivileged, talented young men and women, as well as unemployed youth, through computer training.

In 2012, he established the SD IT Training Institute, Madhabdi. Later in 2022, the institute achieved a significant milestone when it became a government-registered and certified modern skill development training center under the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA), operating under the Prime Minister’s (currently Chief Adviser’s) Office of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Today, the institute continues to play a vital role in advancing information technology to help build a Smart Bangladesh.

From this institute, thousands of young people have successfully built careers in freelancing after completing various courses, including Basic Computer, Graphic Design, and Video Editing, thereby contributing to the country’s economy.
